Covered Bridge Festival, Elizabethton Tennessee
Here's a mix of 3 days images from the Covered Bridge Festival. The bridge you'll see is 125 years old, built for $3000, with only one span. We spent 3 days helping the vendors set up booths, relieve them for breaks, brought them food and drinks, picked up trash, painted faces at Kids Island, ran the hospitality room, helped the concert folks with crowd control and monitoring for tickets. I'm sure I have left some things out. We were up early 2 mornings, to help with the initial vendor move in and setup, and to do traffic control for the 5k race.
Early morning on move in day. These guys were excited to be up and on the street by 5:30am. Of course that meant that while everyone else was out in the heat, we got to go back to the hotel for a nap!

3 or 4 of these businesses on the main street. Lots of weddings?

Sam at his post on the bridge for the concerts. Hard job, huh?

Wait! He's working!

Stephen, doing the job.

Another shot of the covered bridge.

Ricky, showing his sound crew muscle.

Jordan, well, being Jordan.

That's my girl Sarah!

Chelsea & Natalie. Them's some good'uns raht thar.

Whoa! Cameron has mad jugglin' skills!

Good shot! The ball thrower, I mean. Of course the image isn't too shabby either!

Ever feel like your whole world is upside down? Maybe it's just you.

Now that's just rude. You gonna take that Billy!?

Never say quit. This guy, well, what a guy. Brother Dean, note the shirt.

Cameron & Uriah working very hard? Notsomuch.

Singing at the Veteran's Memorial Park downtown. Singing patriotic music apparently isn't respectful of our veteran, so we got booted from the park for our later concert.

That's her again. Sarah painting faces. Quite the arteest at that.

This is our group, well except for me. I'm behind the camera, but you knew that already.

Practice at the FBC Elizabethton, for a later concert.

Hey! No pics please! Doggone paparazzi. Always hounding me.

Kelsey, Maya, & Dee. In their natural state. Everybody else wears normal clothes, but nooo, not these three.

Angela & Jennifer making plans already? That's the way it works right? Graduate HS, and start looking at wedding gowns.

Posers. Angela & Natalie.

Abbye & Sarah. Too much cute for one pic!
